An approaching cold front from the north will increase winds surface and aloft on Tuesday. Gusts to 55 knots is possible in the surround mountains, which will bring a threat of moderate turbulence. Gusts to 28 knots are expected in the southern San Joaquin valley and some blowing dust could kick up on Tuesday late afternoon and evening. Temperatures will drop about 10 degrees from Tuesday to Wednesday as the front goes by. No precipitation is forecast.
